Our Mission

“Trust in the LORD and do good things. Live in the land and practice being faithful. Be happy with the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Entrust your ways to the LORD. Trust him and he will act on your behalf. He will make your righteousness shine like a light, your just cause like the noonday sun. Surrender yourself to the LORD, and wait patiently for him.”
- Psalms 37:3-7
This was our first home that we purchased. It was here that God began to show me how I was to walk out the calling he put on my life to live missionally wherever he put me. He began to truly teach me about my personal ministry as a wife, mom and person. I have loved this home, and all that God has used it to teach me. Though I am excited for what we have in store ahead of us I am sad to see this chapter close, and leave such a safe refuge and haven God has blessed us with, where he did so much in me.

The verse at the top of the page has truly become my life verse. Each translation has another layer of meaning of what God has spoken to me about my mission, and what he has created and called me to do, and be to impact my world. This is to simply trust Him, live where he places me, and be faithful. As I have began to learn this so much contentment  has come my way from God. I am so content because there is no longer a pressure to do extra or even more. Instead it is to simply live my life in such a way that honors Christ. To live in away that will draw others to God. To be faithful with where God plants me, to build relationships, invest and do life with others. To trust and believe that God is faithful, good, trustworthy, and cares deeply about me and others. This is my mission. To do exactly this, as I raise our family, as I open up my home to those in my life, and as I share life with others.

The super exciting thing is that soon I get to this in Cambodia with Engineering Ministries International. Chris will be on staff with eMi and we will be there with him! However while he is doing ministry with his civil engineering skills, the girls and I will be doing ministry with our day to day lives. In our home, opening it up like we would here. Doing life with people, other families, other moms, and other kids. Serving others, and I am so excited to do just that!
